Ashford University has the preferred regional accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. With a regional accreditation, you can be assured the coursework and degree you complete at this institution will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. You should always look for schools that have a regional accreditation where the standards are higher than the national accreditation.
