No, it's not. Haiti is in North America, although some mapmakers who differentiate between North and Central America will classify it as the latter. The country occupies about one-third of the island of Hispaniola, the the rest of which belongs to the Dominican Republic. Hispaniola is in the Caribbean, near Cuba and Jamaica.
