Google browser has one advantage: It is so simple that it doesn't use much ram. However, this comes at a cost of features (and aesthetic looks too). I personally would use internet Explorer instead of Google Browser. I also don't trust Google not to keep tabs on whatever sites I go to; their main source of revenue is targeted ads, so they want to know what I like. I prefer Firefox (3 beta) with AdBlock Plus so I get a quick and secure and feature-packed and nice-looking browser without any ads at all.

∙ 15y agoIn all honesty, almost everything. Even most Internet Explorer users are willing to admit this. Microsoft has made great strides in improving Internet Explorer over the last few years, but it still lacks a great deal of stability, security, or standards-compliance. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera are all semi-popular browsers that strive for performance, ease of use, security, and standards-compliance.

∙ 11y agoEveryone has different things they like in a browser. Currently the best alternative to Internet Explorer appears to be Firefox. It ha a lot of ways you can personalize it to your needs through extensions and add-ons and it works with websites that Internet Explorer has difficulties with. Chrome is a newer browser, but there are many good reviews being written about it so I may be worth a try as well.
