As a Mormon (Latter-Day Saint) I don't really know what you mean by this question... it reminds me of Ghost Busters though!

Joseph Smith restored the original Christian Church that Jesus Christ set up on the earth. He translated scripture, received visitations from God and Angels, and restored the Priesthood (Authority to lead the church and act in the name of God). He is considered a prophet, seer, and revelator - much like the prophets of the Old Testament.
