It has been said that they do, but however the band themselves do not like to push their band into being categorized as "Satanic". They express satanic views and their lyrics have been accused of being satanic. But the actual band members THEMSELVES are not satanic.
No, Iron Maiden is not satanic at all. Many people draw the conclusion that they are because of the song "The Number of the Beast." However, this song does not promote satanism in any way, shape, or form. The song is about a nightmare bassist Steve Harris had after watching the film "Damien: Omen II." The song is only based on his nightmare, and doesn't reflect the bands views at all.
Up the Irons!
Yes they are. People have said that it's image, but they had a t-shirt out with a masturbating nun on the front with a banner saying "Vestal Masturbation" and on the back reading "Jesus Is a" well I'm not going to say it otherwise I'll technically be saying it, well it begings with c and rhymes with hunt.
[Improve] NO, they are NOT. The members frequently deny that they are. That shirt was a publicity stunt, to gain controversy. They want to have an extreme image. The members themselves nor the band are satanic.
No, Motley Crue is not a Satanic band. All of the band members have publicly confirmed it.

Motley Crue took occasional breaks and swapped band members, but they never actually broke up.

Not that I know of. Motley Crue is the made-up band name for an 80's Glam Rock (Hair Metal) band that came from the Los Angeles Sunset Strip in California. They took a saying Mick Mars had heard, and changed their band name to Motley Crue (mispelling Crew to Crue on purpose).
According to Wikipedia, and various other references, Motley Crue officially formed in 1981.
