It's a pain reliever that can help with pain and inflammation. It's often sold over the counter in the form of "Aleve". It's also called naprozen sodium and the brand name of is is Naprosyn.
It's definitely not an opiate but it can help relieve certain types of pain.

I am not a doctor nor a pharmacist, so my answer is entirely from experience with the two drugs. Naproxen 500 is WEAK in comparison to oxycodone 500. Naproxen if anything is more of a anti inflammatory, oxycodone can get you "high", naproxen not so much.
