Pokemon is a family show rather than a kids show.
Pokemon is definitely NOT for little kids.
Pokemon is meant for general audience.
I know some kids my age that still love Pokemon.
I'm almost an adult, and I'm still watching Pokemon.
I still love Pokemon no matter how old I get.

∙ 12y agoI believe that it was originally intended for people around the age of ten, at least in America. I cannot speak for the undubbed Japanese. However, there are many respectable teenagers that like Pokémon. For example, the webmistress of dragonflycave.com is either an older teenager or in her early twenties. I myself am a teenager who likes Pokémon. Also, if you go to a Pokémon Card/Video Game Championship, you will find many teenagers.

any one can play Pokemon. if you plan to have kids one day you want to know how to interact with them and understand why they like things such as Pokemon. just becasue Pokemon is aired on cartoon network doesnt mean its meant for kids. just like the label doesnt make the clothes well the brand doesnt make the age category.
