Yes, Silk nog is egg and dairy free.
Most vegans avoid silk, as it comes from an animal.
Most silk requires boiling the silk moth pupae alive and is therefore non vegetarian. However I have heard of ahimsasilk where the moths' silk is only harvested after the animals die naturally.
Shoes are called Vegan shoes when they are made without the use of leather, silk, wool, or any animal based glues. Vegan shoes are like the Vegan diet, where a person doesn't eat meat or use anything that comes from an animal.
There is the obvious , like beef, pork, chicken, goat, fish, and lamb. Other non-vegan products that come from animals are milk, eggs, and cheese. Similary, many chocolates and candies are not vegan as they contain milk and/ or gelatin in them. Honey is often not considered to be vegan, as it comes from bees. (Although not all vegans follow this.) Gelatin is made using animal products, so read the ingredients to make sure - Jell-O, most candies. Obvious animal products like fur, leather, wool and feathers are not vegan. Silk is not vegan as it comes from silk worms.

eggnog
Some only follow a vegan diet, which means no meats of any sort, no dairy including milks or cheeses, and no honey. Nothing that comes from an animal. However the actual definition of "vegan" goes beyond that. A true vegan would also not wear leather, fur, wool or silk clothing or use products that contain animal flesh, blood or excretions.
Eggnog Riot happened in 1827.
It is eggnog that has been canned by Borden
In one cup of eggnog, there is 10g of protein.
Martha mixed rum with her eggnog, because the combination of rum, eggs, sugar and creme -- in the eggnog -- tasted good to her.
