It is not in part of China. They are in Korean Peninsula. I can't delete the first answer... To improve, Korea is not dependent existence of china. They are of one nation : Korean.
South Korea is south of certain areas of China, such as Manchuria. It is northeast of others, like Shanghai and Guangzhou and due east of still others such as Qingdao City.
