No. It is the Capital of Japan and the largest city in Japan. Its on the island of Honshu.

Please don't confuse Tokyo being all city, because it is not. The Tokyo you and many others know it as is only a quarter of the whole prefecture (closest comparison is a state in USA) called Tokyo Prefecture. Not only does it contain metropolitan, but also cities, towns, country, mountains.
