For more than a thousand years the Hungarians are claiming this rich territory, this big part of Romania, trying everything in the middle (lobby, politics, extremism). In the time of Austro-Hungarian empire, they had Transylvania in possession. Many Romanians were forced to change their religion (Greek Orthodox), to change their names in Hungarian ones and many were forced to flee or have been killed. The archaeological proves that the territory belongs to Romania were destroyed, Romanians had the same rights as slaves and it was forbidden to talk Romanian. But the whole pressure didn't get anywhere.

Nowadays Hungarians learn in school that Transylvania was Hungarian territory. Hungarian politicians from Romanian are dreaming of a Hungarian autonomous region in the middle of Romania. The battle is not over yet...
