it will make the body feel better Vicodin can do the following to your body: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, flushing, vision changes, or mental/mood changes may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: slow/irregular breathing, slow/irregular heartbeat, change in the amount of urine. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: impairment or loss of hearing (especially with high doses for long periods). If you do not have liver problems, the adult maximum dose of acetaminophen is 4 grams per day (4000 milligrams). If you take more than the maximum daily amount, it may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Tell your doctor immediately if you have any of the following symptoms of liver damage: severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Vicodin is only for pain, and even then don't take it for very long.

It is said that vicodin is potentially addictive, however that is up to you.

I wouldn't recommend taking them "just because". Only if you have a really good reason too, ie pain, sleep, aid opening up emotionally to heal confront stuff in therapy.

Vicodin acts on the opioid receptors in the brain and spine to block pain. It's used for moderate pain. In addition to pain relief, you may feel warm, relaxed, and euphoric, as well as dizzy, light-headed, and nauseous. Vomiting is also common, but if you lay still while on the medication, it's reduced.

It depends on the person. For some people it can make you high, and happy. For some it may do nothing at all. It's like the difference between a happy drunk and an angry drunk. If you are not use to taking narcotics you should never take two vicodin like it says on the prescription bottle. I suggest taking 1 or even just a half of a vicodin. Also eat something and drink at least one full class of water if not too. The acetaminophen in it can affect your liver, so drink drink drink water! Also drinking alcohol with the vicodin can intensify the affect of the drug, so I highly recommend you avoid all drinking of alcohol when you take vicodin. If you have an allergic reaction to vicodin stop taking it immediately. Also, vicodin can make you dizzy or nauseous, or sleepy... if you are really concerned about it talk to your doctor of pharmacist. Never take this drug without a prescription of for longer than recommended. If whatever reason you are taking it starts to go away I strongly suggest stop taking the vicodin or weening yourself off it slowly. You do not want to be addicted to vicodin. It can mess up your life.

Does weight and body type play a factor in how long vicodin stays in your body?

Weight and body type (and stomach size, assuming you are ingesting the Vicodin) DO affect the "kick-in" time of the drug. A drastic increase in body size could decrease the duration of Vicodin's effects, but this phenomena is virtually unnoticeable unless you're abusing your prescription.

The opioid analgesic ingredient in Vicodin is Hydrocodone. Vicodin is a brand name of a medication containing both hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Can novacaine or vicodin cause you to break out in an itchy red somewhat swollen rash on your limbs?

I can speak only on the latter part of your question, the Vicodin. Vicodin is an opiate, and any opiate, even in smaller doses, can affect your histamine receptors and cause hives or itching, little red bumps all over your body that itch something awful.
