hey fourteen year olds are legally able to babysit siblings. You can babysit for friends and family if they so wish, but if they would rather get an older babysitter, it is perfectly understandable. People might think your not qualified and responsible enough for this job. Wait until your 16, then you can babysit any one Not all states have laws requiring a person to be of a specifc age to be employed in such occupations as babysitting. Many teens of your age are quite mature and responsible and do very well at any number of things. Researching the need for various services in your community will help you find what you would like to do, including private childcare.
* Yes. In fact, that is the legal age of being allowed to be left alone in a house so if you are responsible, then you are a perfect candidate for babysitting. * See http://www.nccic.org/poptopics/homealone.html
Maybe. It depends on how responsible the 13 year old is and how old the children are that they will watch. Do they know what to do if there is a problem? What do they do if a child gets hurt? These are questions that are needed to know the answers to before they babysit.
depends if it's 14 year old boy and a 12 year old girl big no no
also depends on the 14 year olds personality if he's rough and easily wound up you have one bruised 12 year old
but if you hav a soppy 14 year old there is gonna be anarchy
^^ Honestly, in my opinion a 12 year old should not have to be babysat. Unless, the parent is going to be gone for a long time of period, or the 12 year old is not mature enough, or has any type of disorder.
I don't think the 14 year old will babysit if anything them 2 will go do something together, 14 and 12 are close numbers if the person was 16 taking care of a 9 year old then thats different there just kids
Ithink 11 year olds are enough to babysit if they have had experience with siblings. They should also be mature and only take a maximum of 4 kids at a time and the kids should not be under 2 years old.
Why not if the parents allow it
yes
I'm not entirely sure, but if you think the 14 year old can be trusted with babysitting her sister, you should be alright.
you should be 14 years or old or if you really trust the person and that person is mature and can handle it than a 13 year old but preferably at 14 year old at the youngest.
yes
Yes! I'm 16 and I babysit 5 kids overnight every single weekend. I was babysitting at 14 overnight. It depends on how mature the person is that is doing the babysitting. You can always make a couple of calls (good idea) just to see that everything is OK and leave the phone number where you can be reached. The age to babysit is not legislated, but as stated above, maturity is key.
Yes, if that person is responsible, mature and has experience.
Sure why not?
If the 13 year old is very responsible, then yes. Though if not, no.
You should be about 13 - 14 years old.
No there is no certain age you have to get a license
A 14 year old would probably make like $50 a night that they babysit. But if they only babysit for like an hour with one kid it would be like $30.
A 14 year old can find a job in Edmonton as long as they are not picky. They can babysit and mow lawns.
Yeah as long as you have both parents' approval.
