Yes, 1500 is the average for HIGH SCHOOLERS so you did better than lots of high schoolers!
I was told 1500 is the average. I got 1720 too and got to skip taking the placement tests for the college I am going to. So yeah, you did well.
Umm really great! I'm in eighth grade & I got a 252! lol
If you visit www.lexile.com, you will find a calculator and a very good explanation of what "lexile" scores mean. My child actually made the mistake of calling it "lextile" also.
It is extremely high
1185 is a good score
It depends on your school. In a regular school the average For a fifth grader is 220 so a 6th grader would have about 225 .So that is a good score you have passed the MAP.
Thats pretty good for a person you age, but a 6th grader at my school got a 302.
Yes, it is. To get into talent search camps and summer schools, the minumum for a seventh or eighth grader is about 1500. And that is for an exceptionally smart person. It is a pretty good SAT score, and in high school, it'll get higher.
Yes,that is actually very good for a 5th grader.
Yes. It is a very good score for a seventh grade and is approximately equivalent to the 90th percentile for a sophomore.
It was an excellent book that gave me as an 8th grader a great feeling of excitement...
For a 7th grader, 500 in one section is a great score, seeing as you probably are unfamiliar with the material.
