A basin is indeed a landform. They have no place for water to come in and/or out. It is a hollow depression of land in the Earth's surface with no outlet for water (as I have said before)

I belive that an ocean basin forms because of plates shifting underwater. I am not sure but i hope this helps

Basins form when the plates open in the earths crust and form a valley that is called a basin. :):)

The ground is mainly limestone and dissolves and leaks further down. This leaves a basin.
