It can be in either location, depending on your head pressure ie a circ on the head or "pump away" will circulate water better in upper floors. If the system is in a 2 or 3 story house using standard baseboard, then having the circulator in either position wont matter. Most all manufacturers are shipping and or directing installers to pump away...circulator on the supply....
A thermally controlled mixing valve is connected between the hot supply line and the return line, tempering the hot supply with the cooler return water.
Room air is drawn into the return air ducts and proceeds to a squirlcage or "sirocco" fan. The air is then discharged into the furnace's heat exchanger where the hot flue gases from the fire are cooled by the air and the air is warmed. This warm air is then forced through the heating supply ducts and up through the warm air registers in each room. Forced air systems can also include a humidifier, to add moisture to the air, filters to clean the air. and special filters to remove odors or ultra-violet lamps to sanitize the air.

It isn't clear what you mean by the "software crisis". The benefits of object oriented systems are usually in the re-use of code (not having to write the same type of code over and over again), which leads to a better ROI (return on investment). This means you can leverage what you already have done to get a product to market faster.
No. There is no default return type for functions, it must be explicitly specified in both the function declaration and in the definition. To specify no return value, return void. To return a variant type, return void* (pointer to void). Otherwise return the exact type.
YES! If you do not have a cold air return on your furnace, you will have much higher heating bills as you will not be circulating the cold air from your home back to the furmace to be heated again.

No, it chars on heating.
You will hear air circulating in the cold air return (or return air grille) when the heater or air conditioner is running.
I have not seen many that work well. Check out several in your area before you buy if you ca find them. I would certainly recommend installing floor returns in your swimming pool. They will help in circulating your chemicals more efficiently, and for colder climates, they help with heating as well. infloorparts.com == == == == == == == == == ==
The best location for an air return is a hard a hard question to answer first of all. If you have a forced hot air type of heating, your return has already been chosen for you. If this is a retro fit air system, the return is chosen by the installer. In this situation there is usually space between two ceiling joists that are located at the most central area where he or she can find. With the information given this is the best answer you will probably get
The way to reset a therapeutic heating pad when it says F2 is to unplug the heating pad. It the error code F2 is still showing, you will need to call the company or return the heating pad in case of malfunction.

For heating and cooling, one pipe is a supply line and one is a return line.
In my opinion where the supply vents are located is not as important as where the return air vents are located. the supply vents should be located towards the outer walls if possible. the return air vents should be located towards the center of the dwelling if possible. every effort should be made to get the return air vents as high as possible on the wall , if not in the ceiling.Remember you are trying to get the warm air back to the a-coil so it can be pumped outside through the refrigeration lines to the condensing unit. if the ductwork is used for heating also you should put some return air vents down low to get the cool air to the furnace. This is my personal opinion and may not be everyones.
Do not place a return air supply in your bathroom; and, unless your heating your closet you do not need one in there as well.
