Personally I think the Trumpet is louder, but I also play the trumpet so this answer might be a little bias. All the directors say the sax is but personally I think trumpets rock the house. Trumpets were specifically designed in the Middle ages to anounce the arrivall of an important event whereas the Saxophone was created to give a melody that flows everywhere. Trumpets were made to be loud!

Well I personally prefer sax because for me it's easier to play.it also makes a better sound and is smooth and nice even if you mess up.Trumpet is a little bit harder because you need to squeez lot of air in a hard position. It's pretty loud, too. But eather way both are good instruments to play and it's your choice. You influence your own life

It is possible that the instruments can be equally loud. It depends on how high the note is. In music, the higher the pitch, the easier it is to hear.

Trumpets can go higher than French horns, and therefore it is easier to hear trumpets. This does not mean it is louder.

It depends on if it is an Electric Guitar cos if it isn't, it will be quieter and the same is true with an acoustic bass. As I said, anything amplified can be louder but nothing is garrenteed. Also, the volume of the trumpet is also important

The Trombone can actually produce more decibels than the trumpet, therefore, the trombone is actually louder. However, in a practical sense, it depends on the player.
