Unless the oven maintained a product temperature of 140° or more during that time, no food safety person would tell you that it is OK to eat. It could be all right, but there's no way to tell and it just isn't worth the risk.

Yes, it should still be OK to cook because you left it in the fridge. If the turkey had been left on the counter for 8 hours, it would not be safe to cook.
