That's a really good one, I've got my Yaris from repokar one year ago and my family is really excited about it even after all this time. We drove this weekend on a picnic with my parents and brothers, and the cars was a great help.No problems while driving, very practical and reliable.
The Toyota Yaris makes a lot of sense for the first time car buyer. A good first car should be reliable and Toyota make a great vehicle. The Yaris also is a good choice in that it is relatively inexpensive to insure. These two factors combined with the fact that the Yaris is fun to drive make it the perfect choice for a first car.
A 2011 Toyota Yaris is estimated to get 29 miles to the gallon in the city, and 36 miles to the gallon out on the highway. All in all, that's pretty good gas mileage.
Both cars use the same mechanicals, while the Yaris makes use of the 1300 version of the Daihatsu engine and the Materia uses a 1500. The one car is as good as the other. Materia offers more power, but is slightly hamperwed in fuel consumption compared to the Yaris. Making an emotional decision, the Materia has more character and as a Hatch offers some versatality. Making a well thought decision, the Yaris wins with less costly maintenance after the service plans have expired, as well as a better resale value. Look at the new sales figures. Yaris sells more than 1000 units more than all the Daihatsu models combined. Why will the second hand market differ? My opinion: The Yaris is not the bettercar, but it is the better seller. It will thus offer better resale opportunities with a better resale value. It makes the Yaris a better purchase.
of course you can learn to drive!! That way you will have your licence by the time the baby arrives and you can go on little trips together!! |Good luck!!
Time for a redesign & new name, Echo in North America, replaced soon after by Yaris. The Tercel disappeared in 1999 too. Keeps you buying cars...maybe that's the plan. Rear wheel drive also when everything else was going to front wheel. I had one, good car, great millage, but everyone seemed to put it down for some reason.
The amount of trips in a tankers lifetime
No there should not be field trips because field trips waistes money and time
I have a 87 with tems and z rated tires, it will stick a curvebettre than any civic or pusstang, and pass them up in the strights. So ya they drive good!
school trips are good because you can enjoy where you are going and be with all your mates instead of being with about 2 of your mates on a weekend trip with your parents or something.
they are good because you get to learn in a exciting way
You can use conventional or synthetic oil in your Toyota. Unless you do some towing, driving in the mountains, or drive in hot temperatures synthetic oil is of no real benefit.
maybe if you had a good lawyer, but i wouldn't count on it
