Yes, apple has a lot less customisation features than android, android allows you to do a lot more and has a better design. This is coming from someone who used to use apple w u I then found Samsung and now only ever uses android
I have a iPod Touch and an android phone and I prefer android. Android has more customization like live wallpapers, widgets, a home screen iOS is much more restricted you couldn't until iOS 4 where you could change the wallpaper, iOS is only good because it has x1.5 the amount of apps that android has.
depends on if you like android or ios. ios is easy to use, android is customizable.
Windows Phone is not an open source platform and Microsoft has a stricter criteria set than Google about which apps and games can populate their respective marketplaces. As a result, the app store
They have better and notifications and slightly better customization. According to the charts, that has not been enough to please the users though.
Depends on your criteria e.g. For Apps: Apple, For More Freeness Android is In my opinion who has an android phone and a iPod touch I think android is better

No, iOS isn't a standard for Android OS rather than it is an operating system designed by Apple to power mobile devices.
Right now the iPhone is much better than the Android. It has tons of appps and faster Internet speeds and can do everything better than the Android (accept for maliciously dangerous customizations). AND iPhone is getting a software update in the fall (iOS 5 with iCloud) which will make it even better than the Android. I had to improvise this answer a little.
There is a high likelihood that there will be a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for Android and IOS.
No
The main similarities are: Android and iOS are both operating systems for mobile devices. They are both based off of Unix and programmed in C and C++. The main differences are: Android is an open-source OS and iOS is a closed source OS. The iOS kernel type is Hybrid, and the Android kernel type is Monolithic.
RIM's Blackberry OS is out of date and falling behind in market share. It revolutionized smart phones and then Apple made it better and Google perfected it with ANDROID. It is still better than Windows Phone 7 but has nothing on ANDROID or IOS
