Very dangerous mate can bloomin mess ya life up. Im a casse back in Ohio in 1919 which left seven dead in my state, It was bloomin terrible, i escaped with paralysis in my legs, haven't walked since. messed me up man.

yes it can be fatal, although there are medications to treat this type of bacteria if left alone without treatment you patient can become seriously ill and die. this bacteria most commonly effects newborn children those who are sick already young adults people who smoke and the elderly but that doesn't mean that other people cant get it as well. it is very unpredictable and you shouldn't treat it like it not anything to be worried about

There are various types of Botulism, Listed as Such:

Foodborn Botulism = An intoxication cause by consuming food that is contaminet with the botulinum toxin, which is not passed on from person to person through skin contact.

Infant Botulism = Is a toxico-infection where the gastro-intestinal tract is colonized by spores prior to the protective intestinal baterial flora having been deveoped.

Wound Botulism = Is found most often among substance abusers when spores enter a wound under the skin, and, in the absence of oxygen are activated and release toxin.

Botulism is a rare but potentially fatal condition that causes progressive weakness. It is caused by toxins made by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. The bacterium can be found in soil, sediments, raw foods (including seafoods) and honey.
