This is brief summary of this Vel Institutions motto:torture the students and make them as slaves. focus on college benefit ,not on students peace of mind. give T.C and suspend students for personal vengeance. collect extra unaccounted money as debit from students. management has employed people on the gate who harass students encouraged by director kishore. students are marked absent when they are inside the class. no communication should be made with opposite sex. improvement on students education is not concerned, destroy students life for college benefit Message from a alumini in a similar forum: VEL TECH is really really bad. Think that same faculty, same infrastructure, same things, how come they increase money like anything. They are just exploiting the students. Also the faculty is pathetic. They don't even know English properly. How come they will teach students subjects. I have faced lot of problems in vel tech. Infrastructure is also bad. They have classes which are in bad condition. If you say about the hostel, they have the same hostel. No change in rooms. They were charging 25000 per year in 2007 in a room of 2 people. Now the same hostel room they are charging 70000. Please guys, think... Inflation is there but this much. Its almost 300% more. Guys don't be fool. Go for some good university before selecting VEL TECH or any other cheater college who have just now changed to deemed university status.
