No. Chemistry deals with the properties of substances. Physics deals with forces and energy. However, like all sciences, there is overlap between them, when we deal with the movement of molecules for instance.

∙ 7y agoYes it is. Because in chemistry we have physics as a branch and so we have "physical chemistry" Science, in general though having different branches, is the supreme one. So each branch may have some relationship so essential some times. As we study about the cells there we need some basic knowledge of chemistry such as red-ox reaction. So we cannot deny the statement that chemistry is a branch of physics
