Both "Yes" and "No"
Those who take religion too far can make anything haram. The ingredients that are used to make the Gelatin are from either beef or pork, however the molecules undergo many changes from the "pork" state, to the gelatin that you get. The enzymes are there to accelerate the change process and don't really exist after the process is complete. So it all depends on how you see it. There is no pork meat in it. They're the enzymes that can be found in any animal, but pork has plenty of it and that's what the U.S usually uses.
I tried being clear to you. I'm Muslim-Shiaa and this is a really confusing topic where even religious people are unsure. They never said its haram, they just said "You're better off if you didn't eat it." Its not like you're slaying a pig and cooking it.
. No its not halal in anyway shape or form . Because its either made from beef or pork both not permissible not to eat except if the beef is zabiha halal.
if it says halal gelatine then it is, or if it is not from beef it is halal, e.g. beef gelatine (haram) , gelatine (half-half) and last but not least halal beef/non-beef gelatine (halal)
I buy Davis Gelatine where there there is written "This Gelatine is purely extracted from Halal slaughtered beef." Therefore, it's HALAL.

Most lollies such as lolly worms, gummy bears, marshmallows, etc. contain gelatine. If you want to know which products contain gelatine, look at the ingredients on the confectionary packaging.
There are no Haram substances in Cornetto Enigma like gelatine or alcohol. Enjoy every last bite.
No! Pork is pork
Properly they do or don't unless the Jelly Tots were from a Halal supermarket or they sell them in supermarkets such as Tesco .
Well, I've always wanted to answer a question like this. Gelatine is haram; but on one condition: If it is made from ANIMAL FAT then YES its haram. But, If it is made from Plants, then it is halal. Mostly, lollies have gelanine in them. I always buy from a Muslim Company; not Allens nor The Naturals.Source(s):(This website below in the Related Links tells you everything about halal and haram food)
