What would you like to do?
hydrogen is an element because it cant be broken into its atoms easily..
No, it's none of those things. "Plastic" really means "capable of being shaped or molded". Most people use the term "plastic" to refer to what a chemist would call a "polyme…r", which could be either a mixture or compound depending on which one specifically you're talking about. However, some things most people would not consider plastic, like starch and cellulose, are also polymers.
Nickel is an element
Soap is a compound mixture, an element cannot be broken down into smaller parts. Soap can be broken down into the parts that made it. Elements are pure.
Krypton is an element.
Dirt is a mixture. Only what appears on the periodic table are elements, and as dirt is a combination of many things it has no single chemical composition so it is not a compo…und.
Titanium is an element, like any other chemical substance that contains only one type of atoms.
Benzene is a hydrocarbon, a compound of carbon and hydrogen, with the formula C6H6.
Nitrogen oxide is a compound because it is an atom of Nitrogen and an atom of Oxygen bonded together. It is not a mixture or just a single element.
A brick is a heterogeneous mixture.
Coins are metal alloys which is a mixture of metals and non metals.
I would say a mix of powdered silicon and table salt (NaCl).
