Yes. H&R Block has indicated that they will begin offering holiday loans on or around December 6, 2010. As of October 20, 2010, Jackson Hewitt has not indicated whether or not they will be offering a holiday loan in 2010.

One is called the IPOWER PLUS Loan which checks your credit. The other is called the IADVANCE Loan which does not check your credit, but does require you to have direct deposit of your pay onto their ipower card. The program started in November. I spoke with them today and they said the tentative start date for the holiday loan is November 28, 2011.According to the facebook page they begin on November 28th this year. Up to a $1000 loan. They will begin booking appointments on October 24th.
