Yes of course it is. It is a state of low blood sugar. or low blood glucose. It occurs when blood glucose drops below normal levels. One of its other names is Insulin Shock as it is often associated with diabetics taking too much insulin or missing a meal after taking insulin. There are many other causes including other medications, medical diseases including hommroone and enzyme imbalnaces and sadly even cancer.
Hyperglycemia can occur quite quickly but fortunately in most cases it is easy to resolve with the ingestion of high glucose foods (fruit juice, candies, glucose tabs) and a complex carbohydrate (common peanut butter and crackers or cheese).
