Alligators are completly different from Texas Alligator lizards.Texas alligator lizards only grow to about 1 foot long, and even that is rare. They can make very sweet pets, are loving and kind and love attention. I have kept a few myself. However, it is best to buy one, not catch it, because they are hard to tame being from the wild.
