Yes, I went in for an ultrasound on 09/24/09 and they told me I was 6 weeks and 4 days along. the baby's heart rate was 138bpm and I could hear it with the abdominal ultrasound and the transvaginal.
However, every pregnancy is different. Godd luck!
It is possible but unlikely that your fetus's heart tones can be heard as early at nine or ten weeks. Twelve weeks is the typical date we look for the heart tone with certainty that we will hear it. Hearing a heart beat at ten weeks would require a lot of luck on the part of the practitioner and a Doppler would definitely be needed.
The heart of the embryo at 8 weeks is very small. It is not fully formed either. Sometimes even doctors can not hear it because it depends on so many other factors: Whether the mother has eaten recently, where the embryo implanted into the uterine wall, if the suspected date of fertilization is correct.... There are many variables.
It is not normal, the baby might be dead already inside.have it checked by the doctor. At 6 weeks, heartbeat can be already heard by a fetoscope or an ultrasound.
possibly doctors usually check the heartbeat at your first check up to confirm pregnancy by test and heartbeat to make sure your fetus is alive.
it's called a dopler
Every Dr is different. They normally begin looking for it around 10 weeks of pregnancy but my not be able to hear it until around 12 weeks.
yes
No you need the hospital machines for that.
About 3 months, usually respiratory system of the baby develops at 12 weeks of age. ** The fetus's heart starts beating at five weeks gestation. Through an ultrasound you can see the ultrasound at about 6-7 weeks. With a fetal Doppler you can hear the heart beat at about 9 weeks.
the baby may not be develped enough yet to hear a heart beat or it could be a misscagage either one but think positive
Yes, by weeks six to seven there is a large bulge where the heart is and a bump for the head because the brain is developing. The heart begins to beat and can be seen beating on an ultrasound scan.
Generally you wont hear a fetal heart beat till about week16. The uterus is above the symphysis pubis(the pubic area) at 16 weeks.
No. The fetus is so small at that point sometimes it is hard to detect the heartbeat to hear it.
Yes, the heartbeat is there but very faint, somewhere around 8-9 weeks you will see the heart beating and possibly hear it if the tech knows what they are doing
It really depends on you. If you are a more slender woman that yes, chances are you will be able to hear the baby's heart beat. I heard my second child's heartbeat at 8 weeks, and with my first at 6 weeks, both were my initial appointments with my doctor. But if you dont hear it until 16 weeks, dont worry, it is not uncommon. It does not mean the baby is not doing well.
puppies hear the beat of their mother's heart.
