Do you mean a little bump? About the size of a typical stud? Flesh-coloured and soft? Not painful?
If so, then yes! It'll go away on it's own, I got one when I had my nose pierced. If youre worried about it just go back and have your piercer check it out!
A belly piercing is a piercing on the belly button. Where your belly button might go in or out, it is the slight arch you get just above it. it is a piercing through that area. depending on how your belly button is formed. Search google for images.
A belly button ring is a body piercing placed in a cauterized area of the belly button.
This means you are piercing your navel .. navel is the phrase for the area above the actual belly button** ( **other wise known as the umbilical knot)
mine was $50. riverside area
Absolutely. Though, if it is extremely swollen, or you just feel very weary about it, go back to your piercer and have them check it out.
A belly button piercing can be a lot of fun, but it must be kept absolutely clean. It is a piercing that is easily infected, and when it does get infected, it's pretty bad. After getting pierced, clean the area twice a day (as well as after the shower, after swimming in the beach, etc). Also know that after the belly button ring is removed, there will be a small scar that can stretch (permanently) during pregnancy.
A navel is the area around the "belly button" otherwise known as the "umbilical knot". When people refer to a "belly button" piercing they are actually referring to a "navel" piercing.

Not sure what you're asking. Dermal piercings can be put in the same area as a standard belly piercing would. If you're asking if surface piercings are just like belly piercings, no. Technically, navel piercings are surface piercings. other surface piercings require a different shape bar or dermals if you use them. They're typically deeper too.
