Is it normal to have pregnancy symptoms if you are not pregnant?
Some things are the same as when you are pre-menstrual so not it's not strange depending on what symptom we are talking about.

%FOLLOWUPS% Yes, it is very normal not to have any symptoms during pregnancy. Most women don't find out that they're pregnant until they have missed a period. And most of the time women will not experience any symptoms until later in the pregnancy. But I strongly recommend to you to wait and see if… your period comes, and if not, go take a test. (At times if you're really stressed out about it you can miss a period, or it may come later.) (MORE)
From what I've found out, if you're not pregnant and experiencingpregnancy symptoms, it's usually a psychological issue. The womaneither truly wants to become pregnant or is paranoid/afraid of it.Sore breasts and nipples, moodiness, headaches and nausea are allsymptoms of early pregnancy, but are al…so signs of PMS. The bestindicator of pregnancy is a msised period and, of course, apositive test. I had a recent pregnancy "scare" when I stoppedtaking my birth control one month. It was about a week after myperiod and I first felt very weirdly tingly nipples, and then theystarted to hurt when touched. Then about 3 days later I feltnauseous in my morning shower and almost felt like I was going tofaint. For about two weeks I felt nauseating at different points inthe day, sometimes stronger than others. I had strong fatigue, heartburn, lower back aches, weird "mini" cramps in my lowerabdomen, headaches that would come on and off for short times andmake me feel more nauseous, and some more-than-usual clear, runnyvaginal discharge. The day I got my period, my boobs were so soreand the nipples enlargened that I thought for sure I was pregnant. But I never had a positive preg test (I took home tests and twoblood tests at the doctors office), and my period was typical. Idon't know why my body did all this -- I've never had hormonalchanges like that happen in a regular cycle to me. Just shows youthat our bodies can go nuts sometimes!! I am not an expert, but Iknow that I was watching an episode of "Everwood" and one of theolder ladies on the show was experiencing pregnancy symptoms. Inher case, she was not pregnant but had another serious medicalcondition. I would look into this. This happened to me last month. Some early pregnancy signs are similar to hormone imbalance. Youneed to have them checked out. . I knew I was pregnant early on just by intuition and thenexperienced an abnormal "period". I called three doctors and sinceI experienced bleeding I got three different answers: first doctorsaid "you had a miscarriage" second doctor said "have your thyriodchecked" third doctor said "stress" It turns out I was pregnant butapparently there are so many different things to cause thesymptoms. Could you still be pregnant if a pregnancy test was negative and you are having normal periods but you are having symptoms such as larger breasts and stomach and movement in your belly?
Chances of Pregnancy . If you are actually feeling movement in your belly, then you would be quite far along in your pregnancy. I've heard that it's possible for some women to test negative far into their pregnancy, so if you are not sure, go to your doctor. If you're that far along, you need to …care for yourself and the baby. But if you're that far along, you would probably have a lot of other symptoms and would be starting to show as well. (MORE)
Can you be pregnant and have two normal periods which are five days late if you do not have any pregnancy symptoms?
Answer . From my past experiences, I had regular periods, then depending on what is happening in my life, it started to be irregular times of each month. It would start on the say...1 st of each month..then change to the middle, and back again. I don't know if it is true, but I believe it - When… you hang around a friend who has a different period start date, you both seem to get your period on the same day, which could mean being 5 days late for you.\nI hope that helped a little. Especially if you have no symptoms, and still are getting your period. (MORE)

Could you be pregnant even though you have had normal periods if you had unprotectd sex two months ago and have had symptoms of pregnancy?
Answer . \nHi there:\n. \nUsually when you are going to start your periods you can get a bloated stomach and yes, even feel sick to your stomach. The stress of worrying about being pregnant could be making you sick. There are other reasons this could be happening so please see your doctor and …get a general check-up. For now go to your local drug store, go to the pharmacy and buy a pregnancy test kit (ask for the best one.) Be sure and read the directions on the box and go home and take this test.\n. \nPregnancy signs:\n. \nDark nipples\na darkish line coming from the pubic area to the navel\nmorning sickness\nbloating\na few butterlies in your tummy or a little pain (doesn't happen in all women)\nweight gain\ncravings for certain foods\n. \nPlease don't guess at the above symptoms because periods can cause some of these symptoms. I am sure it's just your periods causing the bloating and the worry about being pregnant that is making you sick to your stomach. Please, the next time you have sex at least make the young man you are having sex with wear a condom. Condoms also protect you against diseases such as HIV, AIDS and Herpes. It's better to be safe than sorry.\n. \nGood luck\nMarcy (MORE)

If certain symptoms are normal for a person how can you know for sure if you are pregnant without using a a pregnancy test?
Answer . I'm sorry there is no way of knowing for sure, you may suspect, but without a pregnancy test you can not be positive. You may be feeling sick, sore and/or swollen breasts, urinating more often, feeling dizzy, and of course missing your period. But if you want to be sure either take a te…st, or vistit a doctor or sexual health clinic.. Answer . Hello.\n. \nYou cant be sure if you are pregnant without doing a pregnancy test or by having a blood test. You can suspect you may be pregnant but you cant tell accurately without a pregnancy test. Whether it be a blood or urine test is your decision. Personally I advise a blood test as these are more accurate. (MORE)
Answer . \nNone, you are not even pregnant, except in hindsight. The fertilised egg is still in the tubes and not even near the uterus yet, let alone implanted. It is thought that more than 40% of fertilised eggs don't even implant.
Is it possible to be pregnant if your period comes at it's normal time but is a brownish color and it's not as heavy as usual and you have some symptoms of pregnancy?
Answer . Yes. My Mom had her period with all of us when she was pregnant.
Absolutely! Lots of people go through a pregnancy and with the exception of weight gain, have no symptoms or discomfort. pregnancy with out symptoms Yes it is very possible. I have heard of someone going to a hospital for stomache pains and the doctor saying "you're in labor!" The woman never eve…n knew she was pregnant. She was very much over wait to begain with, so she didn't notice the extra pounds. But, if you are expecting to be pregnant, you should watch for symptoms. - Sore breast should happen most of the time, but may not always. - Breast will definatly enlarge and harden as they fill with milk. - The need to urinate more often will happen. As the baby grows it lays over your bladder. - Morning sickness is not always a symptom. I've been pregnant three times with no morning sickness. - Being tired more often with less energy happens in most pregnancy. Those are a few of the first symptoms. If you know what they are and watch for them, they should be expected. But for someone that didn't think they were pregnant may not notice the symptoms. If you experience any of them you should definatly get tested. (MORE)

Answer . Hello,\n. \nIn rare cases this is possible yes. It's possible for a Women who strongly believes she is pregnant to psychologically experience pregnancy symptoms even though she is not pregnant. \nPlease note this is advice only & should not be used in place of a medical expert.
Answer . \nProbably not, maybe you miscalculated when your cycle is, pregnancy symptoms also mimic those of pre-menstrual. Take a pregnancy test to find out.
Answer . Symptoms of pregnancy usually begin around 4+ weeeks. I myself got a positive pregnancy test one a Monday and was vomiting on a Wednesday and at my first doctor appt. was that. At that appt. I found out I was 6 weeks. So I would say symptoms start, on the average, around 4-6 weeks. Keep… in mind some women experience little or NO symptoms! And to that I say I wish I was one of them lol! I hated morning sickness, sore breasts, and the hot flases! In a way though they were reassuring because they made me feel like everything was ok. On the flip side... some women know much sooner than that. My grandmother told me she just KNEW like the day after she conceived and while this doesn't sound like a medical possibility I guess she did. Who is to say?Good luck!\nPam (MORE)

A doctor's pregnancy test would be the most reliable evidence of pregnancy. Home pregnancy tests are helpful, but not always reliable. Even on their packaging they claim 99 or 99.9% accuracy. If you display signs of pregnancy, go see your doctor and see what your immediate future holds.
Some woman do get things like this. As we get older our bodies can do this to us. You may think they are pregnancy symptoms, but are not. If you're vomiting, could be food poisoning. If you crave things, I've been having that for over three years and I've never been pregnant. It is normal for some w…oman to think their pregnant because they assume 'prenancy symptoms' mean your pregnant. (MORE)
yes no you don't. I've known people who didn't have any symptoms and were pregnant. I've had symptoms and wasn't. the only sure way of knowing is by taking a blood test and/or seeing a ob/gyn. b/c the urine tests can give a false positive. I've had one of those too.
Answer . yes. Depending on your body's makeup, you could be pregnant with very few symptoms indeed. Consult your physician immediately.
Feeling like you are having pregnancy symptoms although your urine tests are coming out negative? It might be that you got a bad batch of birth control pills! Believe it or not, these drugs change all the time between manufactures and can sometimes effect the compilation of the chemicals in the pill…s. If you have been taking the same kind of birth control for a while and all of the sudden you're not feeling well and have pregnancy like symptoms, this could be why. Wait out the month of pills and keep checking to see if your pregnant in the meantime. It may just be that one month of the pills. If it continues, you may want to get your prescription changed. Every BODY is different so it goes through changes differently. Although you may hear of someone having morning sickness, frequent trips to the bathroom, etc, that does not guarantee that YOU will have them as well. To answer your question, YES it is normal. Many people go for MONTHS without knowing… they are pregnant. You can even take pregnancy TESTS that turn up NEGATIVE and still be pregnant. The best way to know for sure is to of course go to see a doctor. (MORE)

My period was normal flow but was shorter in length you have other pregnancy symptoms could you be pregnant?
\nIt is possible:If you know for sure that you are pregnant, it is probably not going to be your period, although some women have experienced a "first" period then learns a couple of weeks later that they really are pregnant. It is possible that it could be implantation bleeding caused by the fertil…ized egg to attach itself to the uterine wall. Or it could be a cervical change that can cause vaginal bleeding. Vaginal bleeding can also be a symptom of ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. Another cause for bleeding during pregnancy is a miscarriage although the first two reasons for bleeding are more common, it is still a good idea to contact your doctor if you are too concerned. You should probably just take a test first. (MORE)
If you had pregnancy symptoms before you had a period for 6 days late that lasted 4 days and was normal but now a week after you are spotting and still having symptoms of pregnancy are you pregnant?
That person could be. She should take a pregnancy test, and if positive, make a gynocologist appointment to confirm it.
Only way to find out would be to take a hpt or go to the docter.
Yes you can! Sometimes when you think or want to be pregnant you feel the symtoms.. Other times it will be PMS same symptoms which sucks

The Robitussin should have no affect on your pregnancy but you should check with your doctor. You have probably been feeling so sick with th…e cough you hadn't noticed the pregnancy symptoms diminishing. (MORE)

Yes it is. Some people have none while others a lot. I just saw an article on TV about a woman who was pregnant with twins and she didn't know it until the labor pains started.
Go to your doctor and get tested first, if the results come out negative then ask your doctor to test you for gall stones. I had the same thing happen to me over and over but then two years ago i found a doctor that went over the symptoms 100 times with me , ran a bunch of tests then when they came …back with no answer he ran an ultra sound on me in several places and called me three days later and had me come back after he got the results and talk to somecolleague's he told me that they found out that gall bladder inflammation from gall stones in the gall bladder can cause the same symptoms as pregnancy. So, they ran more tests and found out i had five Huge Gall Stones in my gall bladder then i had to have surgery. So, just to be safe I'd ask your doctor about the possibilities, cause hey i even went through weird and i mean weird craving's as well... Example : and it's no joke Babe Ruth bite size candy bars dipped in ranch dressing , I know right? lol..... (MORE)
What if I had a period and it was irregular which is not normal for me and lighter than usual with a lot of symptoms and 2 Pregnancy tests came back negative could I be pregnant?
mabye u should really see a doctor though the pregency test are not always right so i would say see a doctor to make shur that its not some thing more serous
Yes, the symptoms of pregnancy varies from woman to woman, and in some cases the period still coming until the third month, the best is to make and pregnancy test.
I want to know the same exact thing! im having all the symptoms but the pregnancy test said no?
If you have any kind of spotting at any point in your pregnancy it is crucial to go to the doctor (or emergency room). That's untrue you can have spotting during the 1st trimester of your pregnancy it isn't too uncommon, though if it doesn't go away I would suggest seeing the doctor.
Is it possible to be pregnant after a negative test and normal period if there is a medical condition present but you experience pregnancy symptoms?
I don't know what the medical condition is but if that can influence the test go to a clinic and test it for real. Home pregnancy tests are not always reliable.
Check the site at the related link. It provides some great information about pregnancy symptoms, in each different stage. The easiest response would be a lack of menstrual period and a positive pregnancy test
No, that would be too early. The earliest pregnancy symptoms would occur is 2 weeks after sex
Every woman is different. We all experience different symtoms and some woman dont experience any symptoms at all.
