Yes, but your eyes will turn red and you will most likely find that it stings your eyes. Too high and too low also makes your other chemicals in the pool far less effective. If it's too low, simply add baking soda until the pH rises to between 7.1 and up to 7.8, ideally 7.4. Hope this helps.

Not advisable due to ..

High pH will increase the likelihood of cross-contamination between bathers. Germs will survive longer in a high pH.

High pH also makes your eyes more vulnerable to redness from chlorine.

High pH can also send the water cloudy as the calcium comes out of solution and begins to scale. Cloudy pools are dangerous for safety reasons.

no if it over 10 don't swim in it only you can swin in water with a pH of 8.0

Salt concentrations in salt water pools are about the same as that found in your tears. Perhaps you should check that your chlorininator is not set too high. too much chlorine can lead to irritation in places like the sinuses.
