The best way to answer the addiction question is to ask yourself if something is causing problems but you can't seem to stop doing it. If that is the case, there is probably addiction involved. * Yes, some individuals can become addicted to physical and sexual self abuse. There is 'cutting' of ones body and it's a 'cry' from that individual that they want to feel something because they have become void of feeling. As far as sex there are 'toys' and self inflicted S & M practices using whips and other items that will inflect pain on that individual that gives them a rush and it's a means of foreplay. It excites them so much they will reach climax.
