yes, not that it would necessarily make a difference, because of the behavior of a sociopath, knowing they are one would not bring a "sudden flash of realization" and therefore would not make much of a difference.

No, you might be an aspie or have some other type of disease, or just a diagnossiss shopping hypochondriac. The later being most likely. Most of the information about socios online is BS, and you need to be diagnossed by a proffessional to be sure. If you are a socio, be glad, it's much better than being a normal boring person.

Yes, if he/she has studied psychopathy. They see their own lack of empathy and guilt as traits that make them superior to everyone else, though. BTK called it "Factor X". They know how society expects people to look and behave. That's how they are able to blend in. They can mimic the thoughts and feelings of normal people.

Absolutely. Psychopaths come in all shapes and sizes. Some are very, very intelligent and have a great deal of insight into their own behavior. Others, however, may not even know what a psychopath is.

I've been working in the mental health field for over a decade and I've worked with a number of psychopaths (I actually prefer the term "Sociopath"). While some are the stereotypical smart, charismatic, charming, and outwardly friendly psychopaths commonly seen in popular culture, I have also worked with psychopaths that are borderline MR (mentally retarded) and have absolutely no idea that they are different from people who feel empathy.

Hope this was helpful!
