Actually they are not illegal because they are registered with sec, BIR and other government agency but the thing is they are asking money to all applicants once they are done with the final interview it's actually 300p they said it's for the kit and module but come to think of it it's the company's responsibility to provide each staff when any modules etc. and on the last part of the orientation they will discuss their SOP which is to have one closed referral before you can start the job and you have to pay the 300p after the orientation of course poor applicants are desparate to have a job that's why they will hand the money and if they can't find a referral who will avail the insurance the applicants themselves it cost 1,100php for the insurance imagine before you can start your job you already invested money in their company!!!! this is such a fraud Please spread the word to those who might be a victim with this job scam. They should pay the employees not the employees will pay them. I hope DOLE will help to solve this issue

They presented very attractive benefits which an applicant would crave to get the job . I think it is a job scam considering that their marketing strategy are to require he applicants to pay 350 php for insurance not for medical purposes, and in order to get the job, the desperate applicants would search to sell 1 insurance plan cost approx. 2000php. That is a steeply marketing fraud. Luckily I decided not to pay 350 php kasi nakasulat sa apprenticeship aggreement are you have the priviledge to have the benefits of the following: accidental dismemberment/ disablement (50,000 php) and accidental memorial service. Nawala sa aggreement yung illness hospital income confinement benefits which is you are entitle to avail 50, 000 php hospital expenses + 500/day for 30 days. Sa tingin mo hintayin mo muna kang maaksidente or mamatay ka (knock on wood) para ma avail the yun benefits. Yah you're right.. I was there this morning for an examination and interview and something is just not right.. I doubt the company that's why I've search for their profile but I cannot find it. And then this message just appeared and my doubts were answered. We just had the same case. I am scheduled for the orientation tomorrow and since I read this message, I am not coming anymore.. Thanks for the information. I hope everybody would read this and learn from this not to grab any offer given by this company "FIRST COUNTRY OPTIMA INC."
