no! there is no such thing as a panther. I'm not saying it does not exist. it does exist in a way of not existing. here I'll give you some ideas of hints of why they call it a panther in which it is but is not.

: panther is a way of saying "black leopard or leopard". when you see a black leopard, it is not originally a black leopard, it is it's color coating. it helps it camouflage in the long big rocks and the dark grass and trees. true! that a black leopard is not black it is just black coated. under all of that fur is the same color coat as an African leopard. there is no difference between a black and African leopard.
