Ponyboy is creative, given the fact that he came up with an idea to write about his life (at the end of the book) in a novel style for his teacher. Another way Ponyboy is creative is that he tends to come up with ideas when he's with Cherry, such as talking about how both groups (Greasers & Socs) sees the the same sunsets despite on how high their social status are or how low. He also talks tends to get into a serious-deep talk with others that he talks to alot.
