Yes it is possible. Although about 50% of AVM's are in the brain, they can be anywhere in the body. I have several in my left leg. My symptoms are a loss of strength and flexibility in that leg and a lot of pain. I can see where the malformations are because it looks like there is a very large lump in my muscle. I was lucky enough to find Dr. Wayne Yakes at the Vascular Malformation Center just outside of Denver, CO. After all of my research I have found that he is the best. I personally do not trust anyone else because I have found too many people online that have had unsatisfactory results with other doctors. I have had great results with Dr. Yakes treatments. You can look him up using pretty much any search engine and find his office information.

Feet require bones as a support structure, but they also have some amount of muscle between the bone and the skin, which acts as padding. It would be painful to put too much pressure directly on bones. People who are severely underweight run into this problem.
