The stamp 18K means that the item is made of 18 karat gold. "RCI" could be the maker's signature or the company that made the piece.
Typically, real gold will be stamped with values such as 14k (14 karat), 18k GF (18k gold-filled), etc. The best way to tell; however, is to take the piece to a jeweler who has a gold testing kit or gold testing acids.
18 KGL means it is base metal layered in 18K gold - or dipped in gold. It is NOT solid gold.
Real gold will have a stamp on it telling what it is. It should say 10K, 14K, 18K, 24K, or gold filled. Gold filled (GF) is not real gold. If the chain or pendant or ring doesn't have this on it then it isn't real gold.
18k is not homgeneous
It stands for, "Royal Chain, Inc.".

I'm pretty certain the "ge" stands for gold electroplate, which indicates that the item is NOT pure gold but 18k gold plating over a base metal (usually jewelers brass).
Real white gold 18k+ alloys its 100% pure solid color white gold formula; and dont' have 58mm of Rhodium plated ! Sincerely...

Can be pawn
18K has the same meaning as 0.750. It means that 18 parts out of 24 parts (18/24=0.75) are (supposed to be) gold. Just because something is marked with 18K, doesn't mean that it is real. If it is real gold, then 18K (also 0.750 or 750) means that the gold on the item consists of 75% pure gold. "On the item", because gain, just because it actually is real gold, it doesn't necessarily mean that the whole item is made of it, but it could be just plated.
