There is no connection whatsoever between ΣAE and Society of Agricultural Engineering - Philippines.
The Philippine group admired Sigma Alpha Epsilon's status in the United States and assumed the same name for their own group. They corresponded briefly with the then-Executive Director of Sigma Alpha Epsilon about the possibility of expansion, but due to a number of factors including financial issues, women membership, and hazing practices among others, no such expansion ever took place. Instead, the Philippine group simply pirated ΣAE's copyrighted and/or trademarked materials and brand associations and claimed them and ΣAE's history and ancestry as their own, all of their claims of which are fraudulent in the extreme.
