The Great Salt Lake is located in the northern part of Utah. It is the largest salt water lake in the Western Hemisphere.

Dead sea. This is actually a small lake located between Israel, Isreali occupied west bank and Jordan
Most lakes are fresh water, though some lakes are saline. The Great Salt Lake in Utah is saltier than the ocean, as is Salton Sea in southern California and the Dead Sea in the middle east (the Dead Sea is nearly ten times more salty than the ocean).
The most famous lake in Israel is the Kinneret or Sea of Galilee. The name Sea is misleading because it is landlocked (and freshwater.) The Dead Sea is also landlocked but is shared between Israel & Jordan There are many reservoirs but these are mainly man made.
Sea water and fresh water does not have the same density because sea water has salt, which makes it more dense than fresh water Sea water and fresh water does not have the same density because sea water has salt, which makes it more dense than fresh water
Fresh water - sea water kills.
The Dead Sea has greater salinity than the Baltic Sea. The Baltic has a greater abundance of fresh water, something like 1/40th of its volume as there are some 200 rivers in the region
Sea water is salt water.
Put it in the sea.
Fresh water...
the dead sea was once a 'normal' sea like the rest, but evapoation made a higher percentage of water disappear than normal seas so when that happens the salinity of the water increases the way the dead sea has gone. Its not that salt has been added from a mysterious source, it that water has been taken away.
Where does the water come from in the dead sea and what are the names of the rivers and tributaries that flow into the dead sea?
Fresh water animals.
