Personally, I think it's highly doubtful they are all100% real, considering how easy some of them would be to fake either by TLC themselves or by the people faking out TLC.Also, considering some of them aren't real "addictions" as medical science would define them, they are more just obsessions complicated with possibleneurologicalproblems.
Take the guy who claimed to be in love with inflatable pool toys or the woman "addicted" to the color pink. Those are far too easy to fake for TV and as I mentioned, not true addictions. These people have a (in some cases) unhealthy obsession perhaps, but notaddiction.

Of course not. It's a television show. SHOW. SHOW. SHOW.
Yes, the T.V. show is real. It is based on these peoples lives, and their addiction to many, and some disgusting things. Many people may think it is fake, but if you are up to date with the new season, you saw on the preview a room filled with trash, and you can't make that up!
Yes it is a real show
That is a good question, but if there were an answer that applied to everyone there would be no more addiction. However, whatever the addiction is, there are some basic steps you can take: 1) remove yourself entirely from any situation that might lead you to the addiction 2) substitute the addiction with something harmless like jogging, watching tv, etc. It's hard to be more specific without knowing what the addiction is.
