You might be able to watch it on YouTube.
You can probably buy it at wal-mart or blockbuster. They always have a good selection. P.S. The cay is also a good book.
Henrik is not in the movie, and neither is Phillip's father. The book begins in Curacao, whereas the movie begins on the ship. In the book, Timothy and Phillip stay on the cay for months, but in the movie, only fro days. In the book, Timothy attempts to get rid of stew cat, but not in the book. There are several more differences.
He was on the Cay for about 133 days.
A "still-life" 13-minute animation version of The Cay is available for purchase at www.libraryvideo.com and with a subscription to www.unitedstreaming.com. It is a low-budget production and not worth your money. The excellent NBC 1974 version starring James Earl Jones can be purchased at www.TVConfidentialDVD.com.
