The iPad is thicker than the iPad2, but they both have the same height and length.
the screens are the same size, but the ipad 1 is thicker than the ipad 2. The new iPad (3rd generation) is slightly thicker than the iPad 2.

No, the 2 is thinner. The length and width are the same.
If you want a demo to run the 'same' then you are limited to the iPad screen size. Laptops screens go up to 17 inches in size. A demo that looks great at large screen size may not look the 'same' on the smaller iPad, especially the iPad Mini. The iPad 2 has a 1024x768 size screen.
The screen size the the exact same. However, the thickness is greatly reduced in the iPad 2 making it lighter as well.
All iPads have the same size screen.
If you are talking about the app size on the home screen of the iPad, then it is the same size as the iTouch's apps.
iOS Firmware 4.3.3 is the size used for iPad 2 16 GB.
Yes, the Nook is smaller than the iPad. It is a an ereader and is about the same size as a book.
The Smart Cover designed for the new iPad2 is the same size as the original iPad because the two iPads have the same size display. However, the Smart Cover is attached to the iPad 2 by magnets. The iPad 2 has magnets inside and so does the Smart Cover, there are 21 inside the iPad 2 and 10 more in the Smart Cover. However the original iPad has no magnets so there is no way to attach the Smart Cover to the original iPad. Some of the magnets play another role, the Smart Cover can wake and sleep the iPad 2 by opening and closing the cover. This is also done with some of the magnets. I would not try to use the Smart Cover on the iPad, it was not designed for that purpose and would be a poor substitute for a cover better intended for that purpose. Dah•veed Monterrey, Mexico
same as the ipad 2
