I've had a shuffle 2nd generation for 3 years and it is still in really good shape. I really like how it can clip onto your clothes. A lot of my friends always wonder how I live without a screen on my iPod, but it never really bothered me. But with every new update for the iPod I started wishing that my iPod had a screen. I couldn't play games, watch movies, and I never knew what song was coming up next. Another bad thing about the shuffle is that it only has 1GB. and it can only hold 300 songs. But everyone prefers a different iPod. Here are the iPods I recommend for your specific needs:
If you want to use your iPod as a fashion accessory and you don't listen to music that much- iPod Shuffle 2nd generation. Comes in about 5 colors. 1GB, holds 240 songs. Around $50.
If you LOVE to listen to music- iPod Classic. Comes in 2 colors. 120GB, holds 30,000 songs. $250.
If you want a nice looking iPod that comes in many colors and you really like to listen to music- iPod nano. 8GB and 16GB, holds 2,000 songs with 8GB and 4,000 songs with 16GB. Comes in 9 colors.
If you love music, games, movies and more- iPod Touch. Comes in 1 color. 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, olds holds 1,700 songs with 8GB, 3,500 songs with 16GB, and holds 7,000 songs with 32GB.
I hope this helps when you are making your next iPod selection.

You need to specify which generation your iPod Shuffle is.
The 2nd generation ipod shuffle is the best to buy second hand. Even though the 3rd generation ipods have longer battery lives and more storage capacities, they get heated faster causing them to be turned off more frequent then their 2nd generation versions.
no. ipod shuffle's charging wire has a different adaptor.
iPod Classic, iPod Nano 1st Generation, iPod Nano 2nd Generation, iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano 3rd Generation, iPod Nano 4th Generation, iPod Touch, iPod Nano 5th Generation.
as far as i know, no. ipod shuffle 1 gen. had usb/cable itself in the bottom and i heard after ipod shuffle 2nd gen, Apple changed data+/data- something. so basically ipod shuffle 3rd, 4th gen's usb cable can share but 2nd gen usb cable is just for itself. 3rd gen = 4th gen 2nd gen NOT = 3rd gen
visit www.iworld.co.uk and it has waterproof cases for 2nd generation shuffle
Yes, shake the ipod to shuffle if you do not want these settings go to settings, music, then turn off shake to shuffle.
What generation is it? Also, what type of iTunes do you have?
4th Generation iPod Shuffle
Should. Chargers haven't changed much
which shuffle are you talking about? If its the 3rd generation then no but i don't see why you would need one.
