Alice in Wonderland is rated PG for fantasy action/violence with some scary images and situations. It should be alright to watch with parental supervision, and as long as the child doesn't scare too easily.
There are two beasts in the 2010 film that could possibly frighten timid little ones. There are a few loud, surprise moments that could also make kids jump.
For the most part, the film makers did a good job at keeping this Disney film appropriate for all ages. There is no questionable language, no sexuality, and violence is kept to action style sword play and chases. There are some loud, growling monsters and a large dragon that is only slightly scarier than the dragon beast from the finale of Disney's Sleeping Beauty. There is one animated moment where a cartoon mouse pulls out a beast's eyeball with his little toothpick of a sword. My 6 year old didn't seem to be bothered by it at all, on the other hand I spent the next 5 minutes rubbing my eyes!
no its not scary but the adults think it is scary .
Well if you are talking about the ' New' one they have made, it might be OK... But it depends. In the new updated Alice and Wonderland Alice slices the head of off a creature called a Jabberwocky. It sounds silly, but I'm pretty sure that's how you pronounce it. If your child ( or anyone elese's ) is scared easily you could probaly skip a few scenes' if you are able to. Thanks, and if I'm wrong please tell me! :)
not really
maybe for little kids
The original book is not scary and neither is Disney's 1951 animated movie. Younger children may find Tim Burton's 2010 movie scary in places and Jan Svankmajer's 1988 film is positively disturbing.
The movie is about a little girl named Alice that went to wonderland and came back to London thinking that it is just a dream. A few years later she still has that werid dream. befor she got engaged she fell down the big rabbit hole. Now she realizes that it was a adventurous memory. she came back to start the adventure that her farther wanted to do befor he died. To go to China.
In Scottish ,it's a way of saying good luck or fair faw .
Critics have differing opinions on nearly everything, but most of the complaints about Alice in Wonderland are a disjointed script/story. Several critics have commented on the stunning quality of the visual effects but also noted that the film is "forgettable". Also some scenes in the movie were quite peculiar and could not be understood which also made critics hesitant to give the film a good review.
In Alice in Wonderland Alice meets a Cheshire cat.`Please would you tell me,' said Alice, a little timidly, for she was not quite sure whether it was good manners for her to speak first, `why your cat grins like that?'`It's a Cheshire cat,' said the Duchess, `and that's why.The Cheshire Cat is a tabby British shorthair cat.
yes,and kids at my school keep saying that i look like Alice but i don't.
Yes. The story is portraid very well.
NOOOOOOOOit isI give it 5 thumbs up
Yes, but only slightly. I'm starting a petition for a sequel, though it probably won't do any good! What would have made the movie perfect is if Alice stayed in Wonderland.
yes
it is the coolest
I may be biased, but it is a very good movie! The animation is top-notch, and the story and characters are delightful. You should definitely have it in your DVD collection!
every one says its a good movie so give it a try
Alice in Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow, or Tron ;) lol
well, in my and all of my friends opinions it was very good! if your not a big plan of the Tim Burton films this movie might change your idea of his work!
Depends on the ages. Avatar and Alice In Wonderland are the best. Avatar The Last Airbender (LOve it.!!) I heard Easy A and Tangle are good.
very good.
