I find Boots mousse works really well, you can get this for curly or straight hair and is very very cheap.

The best way to learn how to use them is to get the book "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey. The book teaches alot about curly hair and how to style it, including using the clips. Also, check out the DevaConcepts web site and Deva Curl hair products which are great for curly hair. You can find a stylist on the Salon Locator at the web site to try the styling techniques and products and the cutting technique (it's done dry). I have always had wavy hair that tended to frizz, and now that I am using the Deva products I have great curls and no frizz. Check it out. The products can be bought on the internet, but it works better if you have a stylist who is knowledgable show you how to use them. Good luck.

Answer:I've always had this problem. Here's what I use (I have just started using them, and already I see a difference. My hair isn't frizzy and it doesn't puff up.): I take a mousse scrunching gel (it comes in a green bottle and the two gels are swirled, you can get it at any grocery store.)
