No. The only difference is the sex determining chromosome. Males have XY and females have XX. It is the sperm that determine whether a baby will be male or female. Eggs only provide X chromosomes. So down through history, it has always been an injustice that women were blamed for not providing a son. It was the male all along who could only offer the Y to make a boy.
