I don't think it is. I think of a skill as something a person LEARNS, whether it is job related or not. To me, being funny is a talent. I have been around people who think they are funny, but are not. Other people don't even have to try and they are just funny by being who they are. So the way I see it, if you are naturally good at something, it isn't really a skill, it's just part of you. If you learn something that is not part of you, it's a skill.
People may say (parents,friends) that motor bike riding is dangerous but if you think about it, it really isn't. If you go out and respect the bike and stay within your skill range accidents rarely happen. If you choose to rip it up and try to accomplish feats that can not be done by your skill level then your at a greater risk to crash.
