I have a '92 PA Ultra. The Ultra has the supercharger. There are two sets of serpentine belts for this configuration.
the cars are basically identical but the park avenue is better built with other wanted fetures most standered including leather seats buick park avenues throught 1997 thourgh 2005 the park avenue is about 12" longer than the lesabre i would u buy a park avenue any day over the leasbre both are great cars but for the money the buick park avenue is the way to go .
The door hold open rod on a Buick Park Avenue can be replaced by unbolting one side of the rod while slipping the other out of the frame. It can then be lifted out and replaced with a new unit.
The belt drives the power steering, water pump, and other things.
My personal experience was a tire with a broken belt. There are other reasons but your description is vague.
A Holden Statesman is a car. This vehicle also goes by many other names such as Holden Caprice, Buick Park Avenue, Chevrolet Caprice and Buick Royaum to name a few.
get a new sending unit i had the same problem
the failure of the bearings in any of the pulley driven units can cause the belt to break.
Its a left hand thread hold the other side of the metric cresent wrench
If memory is correct it should be driven by the serpentine belt, which runs through one of the engine mounts. To change the belt you'll need to support the engine (by something other than the oil pan) and pull the engine mount. == here is another opinion== First you have to remove the belt to the alternator then you can remove the belt to the supercharger.to do this you will need a 19/32" socket and breakerbar or long ratchet.Put ratchet on belt tensioner nut and pull toward front of car then pull belt off. There is a separate ttensioner for each belt. Ck my answer at "do you really need a super charger in a 92 park avenue"

If the alternator belt is the same belt as the other accessories, yes.
Pontiac Bonneville. Buick Le Sabre, Park Avenue, and Olds Aurora. I have found that many parts off the olds arora are interchangeable (except for the engine), like alternator power steering relay box-fuses etc.
